Our History
Success Unlimited was formed in 1980 by Roy A. Kelly II as a privately held company
that specialized in repairing automobiles. Throughout its history, it has been the main
foundation of Roy's part-time income.
In 1986, Success Unlimited was one of the two companies that merged to be P & K
Automotive. For two years, P & K enjoyed success until the landlord refused to renew
the lease on the garage. Because of the lack of suitable buildings, P & K was
dissolved.
In 1993, Success changed its focus from automobiles to computers and electronics. Past
successes include custom software for a physical property lab in a limestone processing
plant, custom software for evaluating instructor performance, and custom software for a
charter school's grade-keeping system.
In 1998, Success became a partnership between Roy and Barbara. Their long-range plans are to build
a successful business base that will become their main source of income. Services offered
are custom and prebuilt computers, software, networks; web page building and maintenance;
routine maintenance on systems and networks; and emergency repairs.
In 1999, Success made its presence known on the Worldwide Web, sold the first Athlon
system in Pueblo county, created a custom database for bonds persons, and relocated to 6037
John Lane.
In 2000, we changed the name to Country Computers. We felt that this name
change was needed, as the most common question we heard about Success Unlimited was
"What do you do?" We feel that Country Computers helps to better identify
how we are, what we do, and where we are.
Barbara has over 34 years of experience of working with and supporting networks and computer systems,
while Roy has over 25 years of working with and supporting software products. Together, we make a team that
covers all aspects of your business or home computing needs.
As a newcomer in a competitive marketplace, we know that we really do
have to go that extra mile in terms of the service that we offer and the
way we treat our customers if we want to grow.
